Terms of website use

Please read these terms carefully before using JackHire.

These terms govern use of the JackHire website and related services.

What these terms cover

These terms set out the rules for using JackHire (our site). Additional policies also apply:

Who operates JackHire

JackHire is operated by the JackHire project team (“we”, “us”, “our”). To contact us, email support@jackhire.com.

Intellectual property

We own or license all intellectual property in the site and its content—including design, software, trademarks, logos, and text. You may not copy or exploit materials except as permitted below.

Accepting these terms

By using our site you confirm that you accept these terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, you must not use the site. We recommend keeping a copy for your records.

Changes we may make

We may amend these terms or change the site from time to time. Check this page whenever you use JackHire. We may suspend or withdraw the site—or parts of it—for operational reasons, with reasonable notice where practicable.

Job seeker access may be offered without charge; employer features may be subject to separate commercial terms.

You are responsible for ensuring anyone accessing the site through your connection understands and follows these terms.

Account security

If you receive login credentials, you must keep them confidential and not disclose them to others. We may disable accounts if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms. Report suspected unauthorised access promptly to support@jackhire.com.

Using site content

You may print or download reasonable extracts for personal, non-commercial use within your organisation. You must not modify copies, separate images or media from text, remove attributions, or use content commercially without our licence.

Breach of these rules may end your right to use the site immediately; we may require you to return or destroy copies.

Reliance on information

Site content is general information only—not professional advice. Obtain appropriate advice before acting. We endeavour to keep information current but do not warrant that content is complete or error-free.

Links to other sites

Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience only. We do not control or endorse external content.

User content

Materials uploaded by users (profiles, messages, applications) are not pre-approved by us. Views expressed by users are their own. To report problematic content, contact support@jackhire.com.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

Business users: To the fullest extent permitted, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, or business interruption arising from use of the site.

Job seekers: The site supports recruitment activity; we are not liable for loss of employment opportunity. Where digital content we supply damages your device due to our lack of reasonable care, we will remedy or compensate as required by law.

Uploading content

When you upload content you must comply with our acceptable use policy. You warrant that your content meets those standards and indemnify us for breach.

Uploaded content is non-confidential for operational purposes; you retain ownership but grant us a licence to host, display, and share it with employers or candidates as the service requires—subject to privacy settings such as hidden or limited visibility modes where offered.

We may remove content that breaches our policies or disclose your identity where required to address legal claims.

You are responsible for backing up your own materials.

Viruses and security

We do not guarantee the site is free from bugs or malicious code. Configure your own devices and security software. You must not introduce viruses, attempt unauthorised access, or launch denial-of-service attacks. Breaches may be reported to authorities and will terminate your access.

Linking to JackHire

You may link to our home page fairly and lawfully without suggesting endorsement. Do not frame the site or link from sites you do not control without permission. We may withdraw linking consent without notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory rights you may have in Northern Ireland or Scotland if you are a consumer resident there.
